upcat

time check 2:27pm on a tuesday

currently on crunchyroll.com-mode. check this out http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-25165/Lovers-Episode-8.html. wee lovers!=) the episode i watched last night on ABS excited me that i finally took the courage today to spoil the whole series. waha :] mhen, spoilers are fun!

Congratulations! We are pleased to inform you that you qualified for admission as a freshman to U.P. ILOILO for the First Semester 2008-2009 for the BS MANAGEMENT program.

back to the upcat thing. so, i was woken up this morning by my mom's shrieks [bcoz this time, my door was open, unfortunately]. so yeah, i heard her from the garage. i heard her from our diry kitchen. i heard her from the dining room. but she didnt go any nearer to my room after that. but she was like on echo-mode.. repeating for more than thrice that i passed the upcat. wow, thats good news Mom. esp when everybody else who passed are now enrolled there. in short, they gave me my upcat letter waaay too early. you get the sarcasm there, do you? :]

o'course i knew she was excited. but this is not the time to be. UP confirmations, orientations, et al are over and its nearing their enrollment already at this point. waah screw them for mailing me the letter this late. yes, i understand that those with no pending cases are their priority but they shouldve atleast took the initiative to put the ones with pending cases, erm, next priority.. or whatever thats called.

but whooo cares? at this point, im very much suure that Nursing will be my course even if im still not certain where to take it. i still thank UP though, atleast they confirmed that i passed their CAT. LOL :] & now im starting to think that i really lacked some requirements thus putting me on a pending case at first. ok2, enough with my UPCAT sentiments. lets just put it this way: im not meant for UP. never was. haha xp trust me, i said that with no hard feelings, at all. just a little loathing probably. haha kidding :D

period. thats all there is to the UP thing. wee

wasnt able to go anywhere near the computer today (except hours ago when i looked for my journal-slash-diary *what difference do they have?* here). woke up at 15minutes past 1 in the afternoon. and whoa, twas like a dream come true for me - to oversleep & to wake up that late. in fact, i couldnt have got out of bed if it werent for lunch.

nothing out of the ordinary happened, really. except that my mom and i bonded over helping her pick out clothes for her wednesday flight to Manila. yes, it was our idea of bonding. also spent most of the afternoon enjoying our privilege of having three TV channels *we bidded adieu to sky cable long agooo*. YES, three gd. but what the hey, im starting to enjoy Filipino TV - this time, with no sarcasm added :)

ohoh & there's more btw. I FRIED AN EGG! and this time, i did all the beating and flipping. woohoo! i deserve ten claps for that. that plus the kilig moments i witnessed on Lovers (another asianovela i recently got myself hooked to) made my day :]

the forbidden kingdom: a lazy review

went to the cinema with friends today. paid 60.50php to watch the best kung fu film yet (and mind you, it really is the best bcoz i wouldnt have bold faced it if the film wasnt). twas great seeing all those kung fu moves (c/o Jet Li, Jackie Chan) after a while (that is if we dont consider ABS CBN's Kung Fu Kids). bsta in a scale of 1-10, ima give it a 9.. and probably a half more :) hehe. you do the math

KOREANOVELAS are ultimate loves :) That I swear with my whole heart. In fact, I'm watching one now in crunchyroll.com. You better check it out too: http://www.crunchyroll.com/media-24587/Hana-Kimi-Taiwan-Episode-2.html.

BUT here's a preview of the cast anyway. Haha, this series just soo inspires me. Now allow me to introduce the cast (haha, xet. this is soo not me 2 weeks ago!)

THERE'S Brian on the left and he happens to be Joey's high jump hero. Then there's Wesley on Joey's other side, unfortunately, dealing with an identity crisis. And o'course, the girl who disguised herself in the Engkai's (which btw is an exclusive-for-boys school) uniform takes the spotlight.

MHEN, I am so looving this series. It's the first time in years when I chose to be home to watch it rather than go somewhere else for the sake of fun. Haha, truly, koreanovelas are loooove :)

people i miss

I love love love love these guys to death that it even hurts me to see us all part ways. Some will be flying off to Manila for college while the others have decided to enroll at universities which do not include the one I'm planning to go to. That plus the fact that our next bonding time as a class is not yet certain - probably, at Megan's debut but we can never tell.
I most especially miss our group hugs and then the Spartans cheers which, unfortunately, some other people want to copy. Haha *no offense*.
MAN, I can't believe the four years are over. But then again, that is life. Oh, here I go with the cliches once more.
SARCASM aside, I know I will be meeting more friends in college, the real world as they would like to call. But these people in the picture huddled closely will always be priority in my heart - that being said with drama and more kidding aside.
time check 10:48pm
* oh shoot! i forgot to record the time i started. hahaha nvmnd :)

1:09am

no need for a time check. haha.

I just signed out from YM. Byron and I were chatting while getting ourselves hooked with ateneodelasalle.com, at the same time. Call it a new addiction. Haha.

ANYWAY, it's already way past my bed time and I still have an aching neck. But I figured that summer nights should not be devoted to sleep alone. Haha. Cliche as this may sound, it's really about fun. Haha. Gooood night :)

rm 303-304

time check 6:00pm on a saturday
currently: watching hana kimi the original at crunchyroll.com

NOW this is what we call life - one that's free from endless review hours. Yes, my much awaited NAT has finally took place yesterday morning. I was assigned in a big room which literally felt like an oven. I almost even collapsed while I was halfway through answering the last test which was spatial ability.

SO what was it like?

FIRSTLY, it was stress-free. That's because I arrived at the Nursing Building 20 minutes earlier than 8. Hah, not Filipino time this time :) But then, Jenzen somehow made me nervous when he dragged Meka and I to wherever because he had this paper receipt thingy which was different from what we brought. Paranoia stroke him again. It was a good thing though that the test proctors were actually our own school teachers! Haha. It was relieving to see them - Ma'am Sarry, Ma'am May, Ma'am Mabel, Sir Kent et al. And I happened to land on Ma'am May's room so the feeling was similar to that whenever they ask us to answer diagnostic tests back in highschool. It felt like any ordinary classroom setting. Lucky me. Oh, scratch that. It should be 'lucky us' instead. Lol. I was placed on the same room with Jonathan and Anessa, batchmates from two other sections. *Hehe, la lg.. random thought lg 2.

SECONLDY, the test was literally a piece o' cake. It actually made me regret the times I skipped fun to be with my reviewers. It reminded me, even, of our NCAE which we took last year. The test items made me somehow confident that I could ace it. But there's always this part reminding me not to be too over confident and here's why: Out of a thousand or so test takers, they will be trimming the number only two 250-300. Talk about "fat chance".

OK, so this ends this post for now. Haha, I still got to go watch Hana Kimi - episode 2 :)

summer, so far

time check: 7:01 pm on a tuesday

INSTEAD of jotting down my thoughts here, I should be somewhere else reviewing for my upcoming NAT test scheduled on friday of next week. That because there are people pressuring me to really get into West Visayas State University (WVSU) plus there is the fact that there are nine hundred ninety nine other incoming college freshpersons ready to vie for the 200-person slots they give for the Nursing course.
I have nothing to be guilty about, however, because I have already started scanning through the reviewers my brother handed me last night and mhen, the first page gave me an instant nosebleed. Yes, those lessons were what we tackled for the past four years but slowly, they have slipped from my mind already - especially those that fall under Chemistry and Biology. Physics? It will come in handy, I am sure. Thanks to the teacher, that is.
SO yeah, this is what keeps me busy these days. The out-of-town trips and night outs were jammed in the last week of March and the first of April and the next ones will probably come by early May. But for now, it's just house-mall-house-mall for me. It's a good thing though because that means more time to pave for my NAT reviews :]
