moving forward.. this was the photo that welcomed us when we stepped inside the Binirayan Museum/Gallery, i think. haha! ohno, here i go again with forgetting names :[ but i'll surely not forget one thing: this gallery's located inside Museo Antiqueno (please pronounce it with enye coz idk how to type that character. haha xet2), San Jose, Antique. & there were other galleries there too: Evelio B. Javier Photo Gallery and Lola Masing Center for Culture & Peace :)) i saved those names on my phone btw :D:D:D

i found all of them cool, really. very educational too. see, i continue learning this summer! haha. & that time i got out from that museum, i knew i have a new idol - Evelio Javier. never did i really put much attention on what he did for his province but browsing through those newspaper articles and looking at the clothes he used to wear, esp the one which he had on when somebody ambushed him (yes, twas smeared with blood. i saw it.) made me realize how heroic he was. really, i was amaaazed. & that rainy afternoon, i also learned how rich Antique's culture is. suuuper gd ya. sadja2x! too bad i havent uploaded the other pics though. but i will be.. days from now. haha. the camera's still with my Tito so i should wait :]]

things to look forward to

TBH, i dont really look forward to a few things that ill be writing down below. i just feel like jotting them down anyway for blogging's sake. haha :]

` LESLIE's dinner party on the 23rd. that's a friday, btw. her classmates are gonna be there that's why im currently trying hard to convince Xiao, Byron, Happy, Kiki, and Mus to go bcoz i'd be a total loss by Fri without them :[
` CBC, urinalyses, & stool method by tomorrow. jooy. i was originally scheduled to have it today but West won't accept my specimen since they can only accomodate 100 people per day. waah!
` PRELUDE to Nursing. on Sunday.. yes, the whole sunday :-ss & its gonna be with people i dont know. haha! except o'course for Lee, Pador, and Palomo. the WVSU's NSC (student council) is to blame for. haha. they were the ones who planned this.

ohwell. one conclusion lg na da, Pre. highschool is definitely over for me. xet :[

i woke up at 1:15 this afternoon, went straight to my Mom's room, woke her up, ate bandi, took a quick bath, put on a decent shirt and a pair of jeans, rode the Crosswind, passed through the Ledesco bridge which was about to overflow, and reached West Visayas State University 6 minutes later.

so Mama dropped me off in front of the Nursing Bldg/ Lopez Jaena Hall, that is, where the list of passers was posted. i went nearer to the board which beamed the word, "Congratulations!" in a big font size. then there it was...

so much for worrying the past week! :) so im happy. yes. i really am. & tho the STFAP and medical/physical exams will be keeping me busy this week, im still grateful coz atleast, I PASSED. & thats what matters :))

4days, 3nights

what possibly happens within 4days & 3nights? well, allow me to bore you with my story :)

1st day. saturday - May 10, 2008.

WE/WE were:
supposed to leave Ilo after Manong gets his shots but then plans changed. his vaccination was moved to tuesday so we left earlier;
made our first stop at Jereos to pick up cousins & to check if we'd fit inside the car. haha, fortunately we did :);
bought cheese waffles and iced tea at Iloilo Supermart, Molo for breakfast;
ate our lunch at Jollibee, San Jose, Antique were we also met up with Tito Be after filling our tummies with the usual fastfood, er, foood;
arrived at Aras Asan, Sebaste, Antique four hours later;
went to our Lolos/Lolas/Titos/Titas;
tired ourselves by walking to Banuyo with Nang Bing;
rode at the back of my uncle's pick up with cousins - that literally ripped the skin off my face, btw;
prepped up for my parents' Alumni Homecomig at the plaze only to be dismayed by the heavy downpour of rain;
attempted a photo shoot but eventually ended up sleeping with cousins 15minutes later.

2nd day. sunday - May 11, 2008.

WE/WE were:

woke up earlier than usual (that was around 10, I think);
went out of the house to watch my cousin's float (she was hailed Queen) with my hair still wet from bathing;
told to enter the Quiz Bee that afternoon with older brother and a cousin & that made me tense somehow;
tagged along with Nang Bing as she did some chores;
finally, Quiz Bee time.. and uh, we placed 2nd [haha! there was a question about Antique. how were we supposed to answer?];
found out that the one who topped the Bee came from Phil Sci :;
sat in our tambayan and watched as Liners pass by in a very2424x swift manner;
decided to take photos.. and eventually, that plan led us to taking pictures from the tambayan to Banuyo which was like, a hundred meters away from where we first hung out;
tasted a not-so-crispy Lechon;
went all the way back to Aras-Asan to get ready for my godson's baptism which, btw, I wasn't invited to. Hahaha see, imma self-declared godmother :);
got ready for the Coronation Night-slash-Fiesta Proper;
bored ourselves watching bouquets and crowns being given to the princesses plus the queen;
laughed my head off with my brother who was also irking everytime wrong grammar passed through the mic and the huuge speakers;
once again bored ourselves with the intermission numbers. *no offense to the kids who got talent :p* LESSON learned: you dont need to dance for an hour to impress everybody;
attempted to dance with Nang Bing and Manong but that lasted for seven minutes only - two songs, to be exact;
went home since Manong needed to go back all the way to Ilo that time for he had classes the next morning;
hit the sack :)

3rd day. monday - May 12, 2008.

WE/WE were:
found ourselves snoozing til 10am or probably, 11;
got hungry so decided to swallow up pride and eat at Tito's place. hahaha;
went back to our tambayan after feeding our tummies;
asked a random girl what was going on at the plaza that time;
found out bout the basketball game fro gays. weee! puuure FUN :D;

finally online after four days. wee. but im too busy uploading pix right now. haha :))

babysitter

yesterday was pure FUN. it was.. after my WVSU interview. haha! that meant the entire afternoon btw. i was with my cousins and brother. and i was the eldest, to add.

it all started when cousin T wanted to exchange his ps2 DVDs for new ones in Circuit City. & since none of the adults can accompany him to SM City, we all decided to tag along with him. so our uncle hailed us a cab then off we went.

so the ps2-dvd-exchange-thing went swiftly & just as we were planning to head home, cousin N all of a sudden broke down because he wanted to play. *he's only 7, btw* so WE PLAYED.

first stop: STORYLAND.
shot a couple of balls. wasted a token on a stooopid game. got rejected for the 500php we handed the cashier girl. and finally, rode the bump cars! twas one hell of a ride -- esp for a beginner like me. haha but trust me, none of us was a pro :D sadly it had to end 240 seconds later x( nugon, i couldve driven better. waha and not just stay on a corner and waste away precious seconds like i did

NAT

i passed :)) but as much as i want to rejoice at this moment, i still have an interview to worry about. its not bcoz idk how to answer but bcoz they'll still be trimming down the number of passers after :[ talk about the joy they get when they do it. waah. laame.

twas Jenzen who informed me first. while i was lining up inside a room with a hundred other hopefuls, he texted me that my name was posted on the list outside NB (Nursing Bldg, that is) which meant i have a scheduled interview.

after what felt like eternity, it was finally my turn to get my NAT results and as i did so, they made me see this record paper thing which had my rank, percentage, et al on it. 127th. 99+. :) && obviously, my heart was thumping in joy! imaagine. hahaha xx

but i still have an interview tomorrow morning so that will conclude things. hopefully i pass. pray for me :))

things i've learned, so far:

` thou shall not join PBB if he/she is already committed. mhen, i've been a witness to countless housemates who accidentally fell in love with each other, totally forgetting that they already committed to someone else outside. i find it stupid, really. i pity the ones left outside in this kind of sitch.
` there are no rules in making a sandwich. this is a life lesson i recently learned with my Dad. we were left home yesterday night so without nothing to do and/or nothing to munch on, we grabbed a couple of buns and filled it with our erm, secret ingredients. haha! its a father-daughter secret, really :)) but i assure you, twas yummy.
` one shouldn't underestimate the power of hoodies! the reason why is for me alone to know :D so soorry.

unica

im my parents' unica hija. noo, change that. im my parents' only child! wee :) says whoo? says me. & it will be from this day til forever. i soo cannot wait to finally feel what those unico/unica anaks are feeling eversince they uttered their first googoo-gaagaas. today, i officially rid myself from the so-called siblings bcoz il be starting a new life - ALONE. er, with my 'rents i mean. haha :D
