` whipped up a cup of coffee for my dad while he was busy fixing the car.
` left a piece of bread for whoever-will-be-hungry-later-on instead of eating em all up.
` deleted 1093 messages from my sent items list. haha! twas a good deed i did for myself.

last night, i had a blast. unexpectedly. i never knew that i could have that much fun with my Nursing buddies. i thought the fun stopped when i said adieu to my highschool bestfriends last March. truly, last night was a turning point :] & now the feeling of pessimism i used to have during my first few weeks as a college freshie doesnt seem to bother me anymore. now, i dont really care if there are classes tomorrow. coz im somehow comfortable being with my blockmates na. congratulate me :D:D:D hahaha
anywaay. heres a recap of what happened last night from 4 til 12:

i arrived at wvsu coz we needed to get our hair done first.. with colored hairspray lg. haha. so done. mine was colored blue.

we went to JD Roadhouse to eat early dinner expecting that no dinner would be served once were inside the auditorium.

signed in. first there was the AlphaOmega Ceremony - less formal, this time where our batch was given the name CLASS ORLANDO. whoever that Orlando guy is. lol.

the real party began. there was a music video making contest per clan; a gag show; & the DreamGirls where our own classmate, Elo, won :]

Shane & i went to Coffeebreak, ordered a frappe, then went back to CAP Auditorium. twas a walking distance only, anyway

-- gladiator sandals, pretty please. im guessing theyre really comfortable to wear. plus, i need a break from wearing heels sometimes. or else, my feet would be swollen by the end of the semester :[

-- TFN book! i need it baaaadly.. i think? but if i buy it next month, then il only be able to use it for, like, 6 meetings? blaah. such a waste of cash.

-- sweeeets. currently craving: a pint of vanilla icecream plus add ons like M&Ms, crushed chocolate chip cookies, marshmallows, cheeeese (lots&lots! & yes dear, on the icecream. cheese on the icecream), et al.

an hour ago, i bought chips and softdrinks from the sari sari store across our house & i was shocked upon seeing this, uhm, kid [im guessing he's 12] having the time of his life while holding on to a cigarette stick. o'course, i wouldnt have been in a state of shock if he was a bit older. but then, 12y/o?? im not certain of that age, really. but i know he's too young to engage in those stuff. yes, he's younger than i am. i can tell from his appearance & his voice. God, kids these days.

SiMiLARiTiEs, anyone? well, first, they both look hott. 2007 looks a bit like Jessica Alba while 2008 is comparable to Janet Jackson [well, in my opinion that is. you cant sue me for being thaaat blind. lol]. second, the more obvious one, they both slipped. wooot. two years && counting! haha xD

but heey, im not here to give criticisms. coz i know i couldnt even do half of what the two of them did on stage. twas cool of them, in fact, to shrug the whole thing off & just stand up as if nothing happened. if twas me, i would have probably slipped off the heels & rushed all the way to the backstage. that would be utter humiliation times two. haha :] i liked Miss USA this time however coz she even did this clap thing after falling. Sundays bore me

so, yes. it is a Sunday once more. but it's different from the Sundays we used to had back then, before Frank came. no more Mass this time. i dont get it, really. i dont get why we, all of a sudden, became lazy to drive to a nearby Church & listen to the priest for an hour. i hope my parents would finally decide to bring back the old habits. i liked them better. this time also, there are no more lagaws-after-Mass. another first in the family. what remained however was that we still have the time to watch ASAP`08 on tv. & this time, add UAAP which had just opened a week ago :]

im currently switching the channel back and forth from ABS-CBN to Studio23 - only two of the four channels we have on our cable-less tv. why, you ask? to cut on cost & Mom finds it useless since we're usually out naman all the time. see, im torn between watching The Buzz w/c is about to furute Kris Aquino/James Yap & cheering for the Blue Eagles as they slug it out once more against the UE Warriors :] but ooh, update! 26-27 in favor of UE.

lets see. nothing much happened today, really. oh, except when i watched Jai&Klaire Reyes YouTube video on Friendster today. mhen, so sweeeet. wish i could hear their real love story. they make me kilig <3

btw, two Asian celebrities are here in the country today - WuChun & CalvinCheng. haha! la lng. its not like theyll be flying all the way to Iloilo & to meet n' greet their fans. why does Manila always have to be the lucky one? grr. WuChun's really gwapo btw. he's the conventionally gwapo type. Calvin, on the other hand, is cuuute. playfully cute :D everytime they appear on ABS-CBN shows, they always sing this Taiwanese song w/c i bet all the Filipino girls don't even understand. haha!

we still had classes in the morning yesterday. but twas only for an hour or less. our Psych teacher gave a short quiz about schools&&perspectives. i got a lousy 22/25. blaaah. i feel dumb. i havent received a perfect score yet in any of the tests our teachers gave us. & i feel lousy coz everytime i enter our classroom, my classmates are either glued to their books or chatting with each other about [no, not the latest Gossip Girl episode] our lessons. agh, gimme a break xx
okok. so fast forward. after checking our papers, we had to wait for all 168 Nursing juniors to get inside WVSU Cultural Center with their parents for their Capping&&Candlelighting Ceremony. so to pass time, we decided to fill our tummies first. upon seeing the prices of snacks sold in the canteen near ILS (Integrated Lab School) however, Shane jokingly said that she'd rather buy food from the school across the street, her former school - INHS. haha! so without thinking, the two of us went there && got some cookies&iced tea xD surely, the price was goood.
so we came in late. haha the front seats were left for us to sit on. so we did. the Ceremony went swiftly - except o'course during the messages of the administrators [w/c, trust me, are alwaaays a bore. peace\n/]. idk why twas fast - probably bcoz we did enjoy watching the juniors march up the stage, position stiffly in front of the CIs [college instructors], have their pins [males] or caps [females] attached OR bcoz the set was coool&nice to look at OR bcoz Shane had great stories to tell like their DBP Scholarship blabla OR MAYBE bcoz the aircon functioned fully well for the first time. hahaha!
after the program, we were asked to stay & practice for our streetdance that afternoon. but what the hell. it was already nearing 12 so i had to eat. haha. so i went home, ate lunch, took a quick bath [the temp was like literally roasting my body], packed my Pag-iririmaw things [including a shower cap, towel, kabo, white shirt, shorts, slippers] thinking that id get dressed then&there after Chem class. unfortunately, my classmate texted me that afternoon classes were cancelled to give way to prep up for the party while i was already on my way to school. i couldnt just simply tell the driver to turn around&drop me off agen. so i walked all the way to West armed with a school bag & a paper bag && decided to wait with my classmate, Abby, for the clock to strike dress up time. but then i learned from her that our kabo should have an N pasted to it. so i went home.

&&i just realized that what i have written is almost like a novel. waha :D

AdMU Blue Eagles won against DLSU Archers 73-76 :D oh wait, did i get the figure for AdMU right? or was ot a point higher? blaaah, whatev. what i know is that they brought home the bacon tonight. && that makes me proud. weee :D above is a clip i got from ubelt.com. i wanted to get a video of the actual game but probably none's yet uploaded as of the moment. so i had to settle with the AdMU's pep squad. a clear sign that im a true blue fan && blue-blooded at the same time. lol.

i woke up a bit earlier than usual today - 8am. probably because i heard my Mom's high-pitched voice. argh. anyway, ate bread after. then fixed my room.. a bit. haha, well atleast my clothes are on their proper place now. plus, the desk's kinda neat na. gagooo b c Frank mo. so then i decided to watch some anime shown on ABS then i fortunately dozed off to sleep. haha :]
then i woke up when my Dad told me that lunch was ready. afterw/c i texted Aira if she can go w/ me to SM coz i wanted to get my hair done. so off we went to SM. first we went to Freshaire to see if i could have my hair, uh, stretched! hahaha! xD
then we went grocery shopping! coool. manol mode. its my first time everr, to go grocery shopping without an adult [&& by that i meant a parent]. i mean, i was handed the money&&the list. w/c means im the person fully responsible kanina. hahaha :D:D nicenice.

anywaaay, class this morning was a bore. a major one. my Math teacher made me want to doze off then&there. but o'course, i didnt. the same thing happened during our TFN class - same seat plan, same room, same boooring lecture. i didnt dare sleep however because its our first ever major Nursing subject. all the other ones [English,Fil,Chem] are reviews. gee, i wonder why they need to repeat the same old lessons w/c were once taught to us in highschool.
but after TFN, i went straight home because i thought i'd have some sleep first before we go exercise later during PE.

HELLO JULY! :] thank God i was happy at school today. im finally starting to move on, i guess. haha!

nothing much, really. our Prof just confused us with these different people whom she claims are important in studying Psych. & oh, she also made some of our classmates read JK Rowling's commencement speech during her Harvard graduation. allow me to share a line she said, "There is an expiry date for blaming our parents." hahaha, that made me think. & then i realized how true it was :] we cant depend on our Mamas, Papas all the time y'see.

our teacher made us read a poem/letter about the changes in the Phils. agen, how i totally agree with the poet. & then she made us write a letter, sort of a response to the poet's. blaaah, writer's block x_x

twas the first time i saw our oh-so-good teacher angry. gaaah, those airheads made a scene once more. ps, sorry if its kinda harsh. but thats what i perceive them to be :D see, our discussion was smoothly flowing when all of a sudden, they decided to compete with the teacher's stories. argh, whatever gd ya.

one of our most boring classes EVER. idk if its because of the teacher or because it landed on the time best fit for catnapping. lol. but what im sure of is that our teacher's a sleeping pill. a definite one.
but if theres one thing i like about Chem class, its the whos we see after. haha! my lips are still sealed for now but eventually i know il gain much confidence just to babble. hehe, just not now :]
